What is the UAN (United Assemblers Network)?

The UAN is a growing organization that allows local service providers who are professional assembly technicians to market their services directly to consumers in their area. The mission of the UAN is to connect consumers with professionals; to do this; the UAN makes tips, tricks and educational content available to all technicians who are members of our network.

Where can the consumer find professional assembly technicians?

We have a directory on our website where the consumer can simply search for their professional by doing a zip code search on our home page.

We are also working with some manufacturers and online dealers to adopt our directory and use it as their own. We keep our directory fresh and only the technicians in good standing can achieve our Top Tech rating.

Does the UAN screen the assembly technicians?

The Professionals listed on the UAN are vetted by other UAN members. We have a veteran advisory committee, where each advisory member interviews an applicant before they can become members.

By doing our vetting this way, we can be sure that the people listed in the UAN directory are actually the pros they say they are and as they prove themselves they can move into a Top Tech position.

However our results are only as good as the information the board is able to collect and we do our best to verify the information before anyone can be listed in our directory. So it is always recommend for you to also do your own due diligence on the Service Pros you wish to hire by asking for references.

What is a Top Tech?

The Top Tech designation can only be achieved after a member has been vetted by our advisory board and provided all of the following:

  1. Liability insurance
  2. A registered business name
  3. Background check

The UAN will have other listings, but the ones listed as Top Techs are the ones that have proven the level of professionalism that we know the consumer deserves. With that being said, everyone should know...

A professional comes at a little higher cost.

Does the consumer pay the UAN or the service provider in person?

All services are always booked and paid for directly to the professional service provider. The reason for this policy is a direct connection between the service provider and the consumer. Maybe what is more important is the faster and more personal attention the consumer gets through our business model.

What if customers are not happy with the service received?

If a customer is dissatisfied with a service, they should let the service provider know as soon as possible.

We hope that the service providers make a noble effort by providing the very best service they should be. The UAN invites constructive feedback which is always appreciated, good or bad. We offer a way for the consumer to leave feedback through the UAN website site and you can do so on our feedback page at: http://unitedassemblers.com/survey.htm

What does the UAN do if it learns a member is unsafe or has acted inappropriately?

We strive to be different in many ways by maintaining a safe directory and have set standards for membership in our organization. If we learn a member has acted in an unsafe or inappropriate way, we may remove their profile from the site. Please contact us at info@UnitedAssemblers.com if you have any concerns about any listed member.
