Terms of Use

(For all customers and visitors of this Web site)

Please Note:

These are the terms of use; we also have terms and conditions are set to protect... the consumer, manufacturers, retail stores and the technicians on our network.

Listing services will list anyone! We are a subscription service first and monitor, educate and promote the technicians listed on this network! So... knowing that... listing services are just that, a listing service.

Who would you use?

This website makes every effort to make sure the techs listed here know what they are doing. We send out (at a minimum) newsletters once a month with information that should keep the techs in-the-know for our industry.

There are people who call themselves technicians that have no more training than the average home-owner. To make sure you get a technician that can do your job right, there are some questions you can ask them:

  1. What is the technicians experience in this business?
The technicians answer should make you comfortable in hiring them. The actual length of time should not matter. If you hear them stumble on any of the questions you ask, you might want to move on to the next listing.

  2. Ask if they are insured.
This is one very fast way to know if they are legitimate. If they say yes, you still have the right and obligation to protect yourself to ask to see the policy. Don't feel troubled to call the insurer to confirm the policy, it is for your protection.

  3. Ask for references.
If you are still not quite comfortable with them ask for a few references. They should be happy to supply them when you ask.

  4. Ask if they are connected with any social media places like Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn.
This is a very fast way to find out if who you are hiring is connected in your community; their social networks will help you get answers from their followers.

  5. Ask what their method of payment is.
The answer should be more than just "cash". It is understandable if they do not accept checks. A source of credit card payments should add to their credibility.

The bottom line is... it is your responsibility to check out who you are hiring. This network is a subscription base service with a listing option and everyone on this network are independent contractors or company hired technicians; and they are bound only by their own ethics. Always do a little research before hiring anyone, even a national company referred to you from "any" store.
